TKN66 is an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy with a maximum operating temperature of 1200°C. This alloy has a low nickel content and a low temperature coefficient of resistivity. It can be used to replace alloys with higher nickel content. If nickel-chromium 80/20 is used for metal sheathed tubular electric heating elements, it can achieve the same service life as nickel-chromium 80/20.
