Pure Nickel Foil / Strip (N4 · N6 / Ni200 · Ni201)

1. Product Overview

Pure nickel foil and strip are produced from high-purity electrolytic nickel through vacuum melting, precision rolling and bright annealing. They feature high purity, excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, superior corrosion resistance and outstanding weldability. Thickness ranges from 0.001 mm (1 micron) up to 2.0 mm with customized width, offering consistent gauge, bright oxide-free surface and stable mechanical properties across the whole coil.

2. Specifications

Grades: N4 (Ni201, purity ≥99.9%) and N6 (Ni200, purity ≥99.6%).

Thickness: 0.001 - 2.0 mm (please specify the required range, e.g., 0.001-0.01 mm, 0.01-0.05 mm, 0.05-0.3 mm or 0.3-2.0 mm).

Width: customized from 5 mm to 600 mm.

Temper: annealed (soft), half-hard, full-hard.

Density: approx. 8.9 g/cm³; Melting point: approx. 1453 °C.

Resistivity: approx. 0.068 μΩ·m.

Tensile strength (annealed): approx. 250-350 MPa; Elongation: approx. 15-40%.

Standard: GB/T 5235, ASTM B162, comparable to DIN (2.4060 / 2.4061) and JIS grades.

5. Customization

Thickness, width, temper, coil weight, inner/outer diameter and surface condition can be customized according to your drawing or specification. Slitting into narrow strips (e.g., 5 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 20 mm) is available for direct battery welding use. MOQ 10 kg. Samples available for evaluation.

Produced and tested in accordance with GB/T 5235 and ASTM B162. Material certificates and third-party inspection reports available upon request. Full quality management is implemented from melting to final packaging.
