Introduction:
Ni80Cr20 is an 80% Ni, 20%Cr alloy which is marketed in heavier sizes as resistance heating wires. Ni80Cr20 has a relatively high resistivity 1.09 ohm mm2m-1 sand a moderate temperature coefficient value.The maximum working temperature in air is +600 ℃ and +1 200 ℃ when used for heating wires,when used for heating wires, oxidized wires display better insulation properties than other alloy of this kind.
