Shanghai tankii 1J22 is an iron cobalt vanadium soft magnetic alloy with high saturation magnetic induction strength.
Among the existing soft magnetic materials, this alloy has the highest saturation magnetic induction strength (2.4t), high Curie point (980 ℃), and the largest saturation magnetostrictive coefficient (60-100 × 10-6).

Features of 1J22 alloy:
Because of the high saturation magnetic induction intensity, the volume of the motor with the same power can be greatly reduced.
When it is used as an electromagnet, it can produce a large suction force under the same cross-sectional area.
Because of the high Curie point, the alloy can work at a high temperature at which other soft magnetic materials have been completely demagnetized, and maintain good magnetic stability.
Because of its large magnetostrictive coefficient, it is very suitable for magnetostrictive transducer, with high output energy and high working efficiency.
 
Disadvantage:
1. The resistivity of the alloy is low (0.27 μ Ω· m), so it is not suitable for use at high frequency.
2. 1J22 alloy is easy to oxidized and with poor processing performance. The processability can be improved by adding proper amount of nickel or other elements.

3. The cost is higher than other material.
